So these are a few of my favorite things ever to photograph. Guys I love proposals, not shocking at all, it’s kind of fun to see the guys point of you on everything. From location, to how they expect her to react, to how many extra little white lies you have to tell to get her to a certain location. So this was really fun to help with. I went early to scout out and videotape some of the locations for him. This way I could show him where I thought would be a great portrait location for the proposal. We ended up doing their proposal at Disney’s Coronado springs on the beach. It was awesome we were actually standing there me and my husband and I had my Mickey ears on and I was pretending that we were there taking pictures together and he walked up and asked if we would mind if we took a picture of him he handed my husband the phone. I was like “ha ha Ha he’s so much better at taking pictures than me”. Meanwhile in my stroller I have my two cameras sitting there as my “baby” decoy and then he probably does the whole moment. He gets down on one knee and I’m able to shoot the proposal because I can grab my camera out. It was really cute and especially awesome since Mark was able to video it for him on his phone. So they have the whole moment happening. Not only did they get my professional portraits they got a quick little video that they could send out to friends and family.
