As a photographer who shoots in Winter Garden, FL Newborn Photographer I prioritizes the comfort and safety of your newborn throughout the photoshoot. With years of experience, I know how to handle and pose newborns in a way that ensures their well-being while creating stunning images. You can relax knowing that your precious little one is in capable hands, allowing you to fully enjoy the experience.

  1. Choose the Right Time:
    • Select a time when your baby is usually calm and content, such as after a feeding or nap.
    • Typically in the morning, sessions last about 3 hours with set up and breakdown of the studio space.
  2. Prepare the Space:
    • Declutter the area where the photos will be taken if we are doing any lifestyle photos. A clean and tidy space will make for better photographs.
    • I come and set up a whole studio space. I will use your blank wall or set up a backdrop if needed. I also come with all the props, blankets, hats, and accessories.
  3. Temperature Control:
    • Newborns are sensitive to temperature. Keep the room comfortably warm to ensure your baby stays cozy during the shoot.
    • Typically around 80 degrees (I know I know but it helps baby sleep)
  4. Gather Essential Supplies:
    • Have all necessary supplies within reach, including diapers, wipes, blankets, and any props you plan to use.
    • Keep a spare set of baby clothes nearby in case of accidents.
  5. Natural Poses:
    • I typically shoot bum up, and baby wrapped in nice and cozy. So I’m like half posey and half lifestyle/baby led.
  6. Involve Family Members:
    • Consider including siblings, parents, or even pets in some shots to capture the complete family dynamic.
    • Ensure that family members are dressed in complementary colors to create a cohesive look.
  7. Be Patient:
    • Newborns may need time for feeding, soothing, or diaper changes. Be patient and flexible with the schedule.
    • Take breaks when needed to keep both the baby and the photographer (or family member) relaxed.
  8. I come with Lighting:
    • Don’t worry about how bright your house is. I come with my own lighting.
