Senior Portraits During a Disney Vacation at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian

If you are searching for an Orlando senior photographer during your Disney vacation, this session is the perfect example of how much magic we can create while you are here. One of my favorite parts of photographing seniors who are visiting Walt Disney World is getting to blend their personality with the beauty of the resorts. This session was extra special because we planned it across two of my favorite locations, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

We started at the Polynesian where she wore the most stunning emerald green velvet dress. The rich color, the tropical palms, and the warm tones of the resort made it feel like the perfect backdrop for something both bold and timeless. The Polynesian always gives such variety and the architecture and beach paths help create dreamy portraits that feel uniquely Disney without ever being overly themed.

From there we headed to the Grand Floridian for a softer, more elegant look. She changed into a flowy long white dress with pink floral details, which matched the bright pastel style of the resort beautifully. The walkways, gardens, and classic white buildings created the ideal setting for airy senior portraits. This outfit felt like it was made for the Grand Floridian and the images from this part of the session are some of my favorites.

To finish the session we switched to a fun 70s inspired outfit that showed off her personality and added a creative twist to her gallery. I always encourage seniors to bring an outfit that feels completely and authentically them. It adds so much energy to the session and gives a great variety of images. Since she plans to go into Astronomy, we also made sure to incorporate a few thoughtful compositions that reflect her love for space and science.
