If you’re thinking about doing your senior photos on the beach—yes, yes, yes! Beach senior sessions are fun, relaxed, and make for stunning backdrops that show off your personality and style. I’m based in the Orlando area, but I often travel to Florida’s east coast for sunrise or sunset beach shoots that are truly unforgettable.
What Should I Wear for My Beach Senior Portraits?

Keep it light, breezy, and comfortable. Flowing dresses, linen shirts, and neutral or pastel tones photograph beautifully against the soft beach tones. Avoid bold patterns or logos that distract from your face and movement. I always recommend at least two outfits—one casual and one a little more polished. Just make sure they’re easy to change into on location or we can plan for a quick car or towel change!
Can I Change Outfits During the Session?

Absolutely. Most beach sessions include time for an outfit change. Just keep it simple and portable since we may be walking across sand. A towel, wrap dress, or even a pop-up changing tent can help make transitions quick and easy.
Should I Get My Makeup and Hair Done?

It’s totally up to you, but yes—professional hair and makeup can give you that extra polish and confidence. Just be sure to ask for a natural look that suits the outdoor beach light. Bring along some blotting paper, a small brush, and a touch-up lip product so you’re photo-ready the whole time.
What Time of Day Is Best for Beach Senior Photos?

Golden hour is your best friend. That means right after sunrise or just before sunset. The lighting is soft, flattering, and makes everything glow. Early morning also gives you fewer beachgoers and more privacy—plus, your hair isn’t fighting the wind and humidity yet!
Can I Bring Props or Personal Items?

Yes! I love when seniors bring props that reflect their personality—think sports gear, an instrument, a favorite book, or your cap and gown. We can even incorporate a beach towel or your high school letterman jacket to mix in casual and meaningful touches.
What If I Don’t Know How to Pose?

No worries at all. I’ll guide you through natural poses and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. The beach is perfect for movement-based shots—walking along the water, playing with your hair, laughing off a wave. My goal is to make you feel relaxed and confident, so your photos look and feel like you.
Can I Bring a Friend or Family Member?
Of course! It’s totally fine to bring a parent, sibling, or friend for support. If you want, we can even grab a few fun shots with them during the session. Just make sure they’re ready to hype you up and help with things like outfit changes or carrying items.
How Long Will It Take to Get My Photos Back?
Most galleries are delivered within two weeks. You’ll get a private online gallery where you can view, download, and choose your favorites. I also offer custom print options, graduation announcements, and keepsake albums if you want something extra special.
