When I do extended family sessions I like to get the shots done with the kids first. It is my number one tip for family portraits with larger groups. Also they sorta get mini breaks too when I break down the sessions. They all were super pros at this session. We met up in the morning to capture that super pretty lighting and we also got some great portraits this day. Ideally I love to get the grandparents with grand kids shot first. Then we will move on to the whole group and break it down from there.
