What is better than getting to photograph a session the day after your vacation….at the same place. Okay trust me I’m not joking. so we finally took a staycation. My very bestttt college buddy and her family were coming to Disney and I sorta weaseled my way into their family vacation. Haha. My family Disney vacations consisted of staying at the campgrounds or old key west. (Which at the time I was so annoyed since that’s what we did for other vacations. Camping or going to the Florida Keys. I remember vividly obsessing over the boardwalk resort map Brochure (yes they had a freaking Brochure). But I also remember how much fun I had on those cabin bunk beds and throwing pine cones at my sisters. So being able to give my kiddos those same memories really hit home. So I highly recommend taking a vacation where you went as a kid. I also wonder if I might be included in memories of vacations. Hopefully good ones. Ones where you were just oh so thankful your mom or family member set it up. Because you get to have those memories. Those moments of togetherness.
