If you’re visiting Orlando for a Disney vacation and want beautiful, tropical, joy-filled family photos, Disney’s Polynesian Resort is one of my absolute favorite places to shoot. This gorgeous resort brings all the island vibes with the palm trees, sandy beaches, soft golden light, and that iconic Polynesian charm that feels like a mini escape to Hawaii.

For this sweet family, we squeezed in a quick mini session right before their lunch reservation at the Polynesian… and it was perfect. Believe it or not but this session was captured mid day. I know, I know, That mid day lighting isn’t what we typically go for but to be honest it turned out amazing. Honestly, you don’t need a full hour to capture magical memories on your trip. Sometimes the best moments happen in those little pockets of time when everyone’s excited, relaxed, and soaking in their vacation.
