Best Orlando Florida Location for your Christmas Photoshoot
Hi guys,
So here is my super duper fun guide to where to take your Holiday Portraits in the Orlando area. I’ve been photographing clients in the Orlando area for the last 15 years. The last 6 years I have really been concentrating on my mini session and Holiday locations. Best Orlando Florida Location for your Christmas Photoshoot
1. Rollins College: A stunning campus full of beautiful architecture, large oak and cypress trees full of Spanish moss. With lake views and lovely landscaping even a rose garden. On campus parking isn’t allowed for photoshoots. I recommend parking across the street in the parking garage. This location is easily walkable. No pet’s allowed on campus.
2.) Baldwin Park: This little neighborhood by Downtown Orlando is a cute spot. Full of parks, downtown area and it has a lot of places for your portraits. Pet’s are allowed too. I am hosting some mini sessions here this year
Saturday Morning, November 5th in Baldwin Park (Update: They are officially sold out)
3.) Celebration, FL: Oh how I will always love shooting around Celebration. They really decorate the town too for the holidays. I recommend this location for a morning session. Or an evening weekday session. They even have snow on certain nights downtown. From the quaint downtown to all their parks it really is a gem of a location. (If you are in the Disney area visiting this is a great off property recommendation)
4.) Lake Louisa State Park (Mini Session Spots Available): Use this link to book: https://book.usesession.com/s/vlKYVUYdw
I have minis here with some spots left on Saturday, November 19th, 2022 in the evening. I’ll be having my circle arch and sofa again this year too.
5.) Park Ave. in Winter Park: Want a cute urban area for your session? Park Ave might be perfect. Full of brick lined streets and really cool alleyways.
6.) Santa’s Tree Farm in Eustis, FL: (Mini Session Spots Available) : Use this link to book your spot: https://book.usesession.com/s/DY1dr_iIl
I love this location. Acres of trees just waiting for you all to dance around in them. We have AM and PM slots still available.
7.) Winter Summerland golf Course: Oh man want a cute FL themed Christmas location. Winter Summerland is perfect!! I recommend right when they open and a weekday.
8.) Cypress grove estate house: Look at this adorable estate house in the Orlando Area. I love it here Ideally a morning session or a weekday evening is a great option for this spot.
9.) Your own House: Need I say more? We can make cookies or shoot around the outside of your house or neighborhood.
10.) Margaritaville Orlando: Want another tropical Florida location for your holiday portraits? Here yah go!! So fun!!!
11.) Downtown Winderemere: Give me those dirt road sessions. I love these locations plus add in a whole other look with the downtown shops. (Avoid the farmers market if you want less people around)
12.) Fall trees do exist!! Find some fall looking trees for more of a Wintery vibe:
13.) Gaylord Palms Orlando: This place is great, worried about the rain? Wind? Cold? Not here!! There’s an atrium. Which is super great. Please note there is a pretty hefty parking fee, but I think totally worth it.
14.) Head to one of the beaches, east or west coast: If you shoot for a weekday you will have a much less busier beach.
15.) Studio Shoot: Want to avoid the crazy weather and have a really cute set up? I have studio minis in Longwood this year on December 3rd in the morning. Mini Session Spots Available) : Use this link to book your spot: https://book.usesession.com/s/kb4FHIfTz
