Ceremony at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church | Reception at The Grille at Riverview

Small weddings have such a beautiful way of feeling deeply personal, and this New Smyrna Beach celebration was no exception. The couple exchanged vows at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, a bright and peaceful space just blocks from the shoreline. With its soft colors and coastal feel, the church made the perfect backdrop for a ceremony filled with love, laughter, and quiet reverence.
After the ceremony, we spent a few minutes outside the church for portraits. The church entrance was framed with tall palms, and the ocean breeze added the perfect touch to every image. The couple was relaxed and glowing as we took a short walk to some nearby shaded areas before heading to the reception.
The reception was held at The Grille at Riverview, a charming waterfront restaurant that always delivers on views and ambiance. Guests gathered on the outdoor deck as the sun began to set, sipping cocktails and enjoying the breeze off the river. The couple kept things simple and sweet. Their reception was filled with just their closest loved ones, creating an atmosphere that felt like a family dinner—with a bit more sparkle.
We stepped away for a few sunset portraits along the water just before dinner. The golden light reflecting off the Intracoastal made the perfect setting for romantic, quiet moments together. Then it was time for dinner, laughter, heartfelt speeches, and a night full of warm memories.
New Smyrna Beach weddings never disappoint, and this one reminded me just how magical a small, meaningful celebration can be.
