There is something so magical about being a Disney’s Polynesian Resort portrait photographer, especially when the Florida skies decide to cooperate at the very last minute. This sweet family of four was staying at the Polynesian for their Orlando vacation, and I photographed their sunset portraits right outside their resort. We were so close to being rained out, but the rain stopped just in time for our session. Talk about Disney magic.

This family was such a joy to work with. They have two amazing boys, full of energy and laughter, and Mom and I instantly clicked. It felt like photographing an old friend. From the very first photo, I knew this session was going to be filled with fun, love, and memories they will treasure for years.

Disney’s Polynesian Resort is one of my favorite locations for portraits because it combines tropical scenery with Disney charm. The palm trees, sandy beach areas, and lagoon views at sunset make it the perfect backdrop for family photos. It truly feels like a slice of paradise right in the heart of Walt Disney World.

If you are staying at the Polynesian during your Disney vacation, booking a family portrait session is one of the best ways to capture your trip. As a Disney’s Polynesian Resort portrait photographer, I love helping families freeze these special moments in time, whether it is kids playing in the sand, parents sharing a laugh, or that golden Florida sunset reflecting across the water.

We ended this session with big smiles, sandy toes, and a gallery filled with joy. This family’s portraits are overflowing with memories, and I am so grateful I had the chance to be part of their Disney vacation story.

If you are planning your stay at Disney’s Polynesian Resort and are looking for a portrait photographer to capture your family, I would love to help create portraits that feel fun, relaxed, and full of Disney magic.
