I love that I was able to photograph his 100 day portraits. For those that don’t know. the 100th day celebration is a special milestone in other cultures, because in the olden days, many babies didn’t survive past this day. Therefore, the 100th day symbolizes the end of the delicate newborn stage when he is finally olde enough to “greet” his guests. It can also represent the wish that the baby will live 100 years and reach longevity. At the age stage of 100 days babies are much more alert so they aren’t posed like traditional newborn portraits. They tend to have a shorter attention span too so we buzzed through his session.
